Is there a better way to handle this kind of stuff? I didn't want to keep track of the current page number on the Lemur because it won't automatically update when I switch categories. I use names like Knob1, Knob2, Knob3 because our Lemur template is already configured to recognize those names. could be in Graphics, page 11 could be in Atmospherics, and page 12 could be back in Graphics. Switch to Edit mode and learn a MIDI event for each widget Assign a unique OSC name to each widget. It seems that the cue page numbers aren't necessarily in ascending order by category. The other unexpected behavior I encountered is related to inconsistent page numbering. Haven't tried them yet and don't have a clue about how this stuff actually works which is why I tried these free joints first. The iPad is a PERFECT controller platform IMHO. I came up on these 2 free apps that are supposed to do close to the same thing as Lemur & TouchOSC. 16 GB of data can be stored on that thing and all I likely need to load a pile of TouchOSC templates is a few hundred kb. OSC Target: /beyond/general/SelectNextPageĮxpected behavior: OSC Out from beyond including a page index Jazz mutant is going to have to more than halve their price to compete with the iPad and TouchOSC combo. There is nothing showing up in the OSC OUT monitor. 65441 suburb 65427 triple 65426 holiday 65423 forum 65418 initiated 65408. *** After restarting Beyond, it is no longer sending OSC messages. OSC Out (from Beyond): the new current page index (increments - I expected the opposite behavior) OSC Target: /beyond/general/SelectPrevPageĮxpected behavior: select the previous page I'm creating a template for Beyond for my Lemur, and I've noticed some strange behavior when trying to select cue pages via OSC.
